Arts Council England - the national development agency for the arts in England, providing funding for a range of arts activities. TSF frequently receives project funding from Arts Council England
The Esmée Fairbairn Foundation aims to improve the quality of life throughout the UK. It is one of the largest independent grant-making foundations in the UK. The Foundation is supporting TSF's digital project Le Tour de France.
Community Foundation is a registered charity at the forefront of the community foundation movement, committed to positive social change in the UK through the development of 'community philanthropy'.
Hexham Community Partnership - working to make Hexham an increasingly vibrant, enterprising and adaptable market town for all who live, work or visit it. TSF has collaborated with the Forum Cinema, owned by HCP, on events such as Meet the Director/Actors, presentations of TSF's work and film screenings.
The Lions club of Tynedale - a group of men and women, from all walks of life, who freely give their time to help local charities and good causes. Tynedale Lions has supported several TSF projects in schools and the local community.
Northern Stage, Newcastle upon Tyne - the largest producing theatre company in the North East of England and also regarded as one of the top-ten UK producing theatres. Co-produced Lorca: Amor en el Jardin with TSF in 2011.
Northumberland County Council - local government support for the arts. Northumberland County Council is a unitary government in North East England. TSF receives an annual grant from NCC and has received project funding for its work older people.
Queen's Hall Arts Centre - theatre, visual arts exhibitions, comedy, film, live music and workshops. Queen's Hall Arts has generously supported TSF through the provision of rehearsal space and technical assistance for many years.
The Wellcome Trust - UK's largest non-governmental source of funds for biomedical research. The Trust supports projects that engage young people in arts and science. It generously funded TSF's schools' projects Marie Curie and the Discovery of Radium and Louis Pasteur and the Devastating Germs.
The Joicey Trust makes grants within its main beneficial area of Northumberland and the old Metropolitan Borough of Tyne & Wear (i.e. all NE and SR postcodes and DH4/5). It also welcomes applications from the eastern Scottish Borders.
Thriving Together unites the voluntary, community and social enterprise sector to make a positive impact on the lives of Northumberland residents. Thriving Together has recently awarded TSF a grant to set up a new drama group for older people in Bellingham, in partnership with Northumberland Libraries.
Creative UK works with local partners in the North East to deliver tailored business support and investment opportunities for creative and cultural practitioners, freelancers, organisations and SMEs based in the region.
Independent Theatre Council is the management association representing the independent performing arts sector. We are a community of over 450 companies and producers working in drama, dance, opera and musical theatre, mime and physical theatre, circus, puppetry, street arts and mixed media.
