Based on TSF's highly successful theatre show of the same name, this fast-paced story follows the adventures of the Sans Frontières Detective Agency as they set out to find the maillots (or jerseys) stolen from the famous Tour de France cycle race. Implored by Madame Blanc to take on the case, they must outwit Le Fantôme Cycliste (the Phantom Cyclist!) who has some dastardly tricks up his sleeve. Along the way, they encounter many aspects of French culture and get to practise some simple French. Can they track down the devious villain and the jerseys in time to save the Tour de France?

'Le Tour de France is an excellent resource and I would like it in all my schools.'
JANE DAWSON
“I showed this film to the children in Years 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 whilst we were studying the Tour de France at school to concur with the actual cycle race taking place. The children (all ages and all classes!) absolutely loved it! It was great that there were worksheets to go with each episode too."
